You're back at ClevverTV and I'm your girl Dana Ward with the recap for The Hills and its very last show. It's hard to believe that the end of the show's run has come and gone, but some cast members really aren't too sad about it. Marc Malkin at E! Online chatted with Kristin at the show's wrap party at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood and she said QUOTE 'I am so happy it's over'. Ha, there is no misreading that! In fact, she told the secret that everyone's been wanting to hear: that this reality show really is not reality. Kristin opened up that producers on The Hills directed her to accuse Stephanie of starting a drug addiction rumor about her, even though Kristin knew it was far from the truth, adding 'Ya gotta make it good television.' But bringing it back to the actual final episode, it was definitely a scripted ending to The Hills. We found that everyone was growing up and moving on. Audrina moves to a new place on the beach, Lo moves in with her serious boyfriend, Stephanie finds a boyfriend, Kristin decides to move to Europe... Unfortunately, for fans, there weren't any scenes including the original 'star', LC, nor were Heidi and Spencer around. But the last scene was an apparent commentary on how The Hills really was a production and really was kinda scripted. The audience things that Kristin is riding away in a car, as a sad Brody is left in the neighborhood street - until the camera pulls back to reveal a Hollywood sign backdrop, they're on a studio set, Kristin has not left town.Who saw this? Who was shocked? And what do you think MTV is trying to say to the audience with this scene: We got you! Or is it more of a 'you were right and now we can tell you'?
