It's true that your opponent will miss the flop, but if you're up against a savvy player, he will notice when you are always betting a take-down raise on the button. He will also know that you are likely to have missed the flop too and since he knows that you will always fold to a re-raise, he will always re-raise you and rake in your chips most of the time. You are going to have to be a tough player to deal with someone who is playing Sheriff on you like that and the strategy will not work.

500 to win a 525, yea sure. I raise it 2x times the blind and the BB almost every single time called. So what i mean is everybody knows that ur intention to steal the blinds and usually BB calls with any funky hand. if ur not ready to bluff the flop, every time BB wins so ur risking more then u will get.
